The 2011 Book features only local, independent businesses in WNY and exists to support our local economy. Books are supplied to your organization on consignment and any book not sold can be fully returned at the completion of your fundraising efforts.

Fundraising Tips for Schools

There are a few key points to consider when thinking about Buffalo First's All-Local Coupon Book for your next fundraiser:

  • Map out how much your school/organization needs to raise and for what cause.
  • Finalize the number of coupon books that need to be sold to reach your goal.
  • Determine how many students will be selling the books and how many books each student needs to sell in order to reach your goal.
  • Establish and create additional fundraising materials that might be helpful for your participants (envelopes for money).
  • Determine the length of your fundraiser, including start and end date.
  • Be sure to properly notify all participants of your new fundraising campaign, including students, parents, and your entire school/organization.
  • Provide participants with a reliable contact for fundraising questions.
  • Inform all participants on whom checks should be made out to, where, when and how money should be dropped off.
