The Partnership for the Public Good provides research and advocacy support to a broad array of partnersthat share a community-oriented vision of a revitalized Buffalo-Niagara. We help community groups have a stronger and better informed voice in public policy debates. We help Buffalo-Niagara to build on assets such as diversity, historic neighborhoods, and natural resources, make progress on problems such as poverty, inequality, and pollution, and bring greater accountability and democracy to local government. PPG advances its principles with a wealth of publications and an annual community agenda. Our citizen tool-kit offers a one-stop shop for anyone who wants to become more informed and engaged on local issues. We host public forums and a radio show, The Public Good, which airs every Tuesday from 1:00-1:30pm on WUFO AM 1080. Each summer PPG works with the Cornell University ILR School to bring 20 Cornell students to Buffalo to intern with PPG partners in the High Road Fellowship Program. |
