The Winery at Marjim Manor is a place where history and charm come together. Owned and operated by Margo Sue Bittner, it features fruit wines. Current favorites include Cherry Concerto, Cranberry Crescendo and A Pear Made in Heaven. All of the fruit is locally produced and processed, the bulk of it coming from Singer Farms, her husband’s operation. At various times, the Winery has been a home, a grainery and even a convent for the Sisters of St. Joseph. Part of the charm is hearing Margo relate the colorful tale, including introducing the ghosts. All the wines are from local produce, and many of the items in the gift shop are locally made.
