The "Where the Buffalo Roam" coupon book will be sold in over 70 retail locations throughout Buffalo beginning in December.  They retail for just $10 and contain thousands in savings at ALL Buffalo-owned and operated establishments! 

 

The 100 page coupon book contains coupons to over 150 Buffalo based businesses and organizations all over the Western New York region.   Names you will find in the book include: Talking Leaves Books, Pizza Plant, The Buffalo Zoo, The Market Arcade Cinemas, Record Theater, Buffalo Re-Use, and Urban Roots.  It will also feature a special full-color green guide to Buffalo and green consumer tips.  Dimensions of the book are 4.25' x 9'.  It is designed by David Courtney of the Courtney Creative.   


It costs $50 to have a coupon listed in the book.  Businesses can get a FREE coupon when they order 10 books at the wholesale price of $7.  (You can then sell these in your shop for $10).  Nonprofits can order books for $6.

 

The City of Buffalo, Artvoice and business associations from neighborhoods including: Allentown, Connecticut Street, Clarence, Elmwood, Hertel, Jefferson, South Buffalo and Williamsville are promoting the book.   


The book is a great way to encourage smart spending in a slowing economy.  Shopping locally keeps 3X more money in Buffalo.
